In October 1988, the first incarnation of The Fat shot a video clip of their theme song. It was videotaped on Betacam SP by Robert Frith, and directed by Robert Frith and Peter Morse. Locations included a supermarket, a cemetery, and the beach. When their mini-album was released in the Autumn of the following year, the clip received airplay on ABC TV's "Rage", as well as some music program Channel 10 had at that time. (The video requires Quicktime 7 to view)

Between December 1989 and January 1990, parts of three live gigs were filmed, once again by Robert Frith, and these performances were edited together and subsequently offered for sale as a one-hour video entitled "The Fat Live".
