Hugo Au Go-Go

Val and Pepe, being cousins, had the family connection going, and always excelled when playing together, and were passionate about their respective instruments of choice. Val would drum on the desks in high school, and Pepe was always from the very beginning an accomplished guitarist. Joe "Nipper" Mansell continued to play congas with this outfit for a while, but only on a casual basis. It would be impossible to trace all of the bands that Joe played percussion for or drummed with, but suffice it to say that this talented young rhythmist's next big gig was being the drummer for the Marigolds.
