PHIL THE BEAST (alias Phil Gabriel) - vocals

Main front man for the outfit. With his wildman antics and his even wilder facial hair, Phil would always make an impression on an audience. His inimitable vocal style incorporated screaming and howling ("The Beast Song"), and his pronounced goatee beard and moustache suggested a satyr-like persona. Phil was also a prime creative force in the band, contributing a great deal of the concepts and lyrics. Currently resides in Perth.

PASADENA PETE (alias Peter Cope) - guitar, vocals & bass

Along with Texas Trev, Pasadena Pete was the main musical force behind the band, in both performing and composing. Perhaps a little shy of the limelight, Pete never sought the solo spotlight, preferring to pitch in and share the vocal chores with the others. His quiet, brooding presence was the perfect counterpoint to Phil's flamboyant extroversion. Currently resides in Perth.

TEXAS TREV (alias Trevor Hilton) - vocals & guitar

The other main musical force in the band, and vocalist on the songs "Cherry (I Love You)" and "If God Had Made Us Humble (Then Why Did He Make Trucks?)". Texas Trev later went on to make a couple of brief guest appearances with the Waltons in 1986 to croon the evergreen classic "Yodelling In The Rain". Currently resides in Perth.

SASKATCHEWAN STU (alias Stuart Nichols) - synth & vocals

Saskatchewan Stu (for wont of a better name) joined the band for their second and final gig, playing synth, and joining in on the vocal choruses. Stu, along with his cohort Andrew (who was always just offstage or just off-mike or just out of shot) helped pen significant amount of lyrics for the band, whose material was entirely original. Currently resides in Paris.

MINNESOTA MIKE (alias Michael Hyde) - bagpipes

Minnesota Mike (again, for wont of a better name), was one of two auxilliary members of the Pickle Flickers ensemble, joining them onstage for a helpful bagpipes assist during part of the band's notorious rambling epic "Hoo-Cum". Mike was also responsible for ensuring that an entire live Pickle Flickers performance was captured on video for future fans to enjoy. Currently resides in Fitzroy Crossing.

ALABAMIE AL (alias Alan Heron) - slinky

The second auxilliary member. Al joined the band onstage to play a unique percussion instrument during the song "Bhagwan". It was a metal slinky, with a delicate, crisp yet subtle metallic tone. It is believed that Alabamie Al was the first musical exponent of the slinky anywhere in the world, and probably remains the foremost authority on it to this day (amongst othert things no doubt). Currently resides in Perth.
