Why
create fresh artwork for your next Monkees record when you can just re-use
the same one from last time?
Like
the UK (and unlike America), Australia opted to release the Micky Dolenz
number "Alternate Title (Randy Scouse Git)" from the LP "Headquarters"
as a single, backed with "Forget That Girl" from the same record.
The
release date shown above is taken from Glenn A Baker's comprehensive inner
sleeve annotations for the 1979 Australian double LP compilation "Monkeemania",
but it could be out by a couple of months, as "Pleasant Valley Sunday"
is listed on the back cover as another "great single from RCA",
which suggests this single must have been issued after that one.
Another
note: on the record label itself, the A-side is only called "Alternate
Title", leaving out the bracketed "Randy Scouse Git" part.
