Action Man Basic Figure

Here we have the standard figure. Clad only in his blue plastic briefs, and available with either blond or brown flocked hair, this figure came with the standard poster/catalogue insert, a Star Awards leaflet, and an instruction sheet.

This figure was manufactured cheaply, and it shows. The legs are often weak, the gripping hands are not the of the superior rubber variety that the deluxe model figure has, and the body casts as well as the plastic used are also not of the standard of the deluxe figure.

When I was picking up cheap Action Man stock in the mid '80s, I was buying these boxed figures for as little as $2.50 AU.
