Action
Man was always the trans-Atlantic cousin of GI Joe. It was licensed to the
UK company Palitoy by Hasbro, the American company who first brought out
GI Joe in 1964. In the late '70s or so, Toltoys took over the brand name
and the manufacture of Action Man until it ceased production around the
mid 1980s. Action Man was brought back on the market in the '90s, but it
wasn't the same. Accept no substitute. This here is our genuine flock-haired,
swivel-eyed pal. |
