This
figure is actually a "Tommy Gunn", an action figure made in
England in the 1960s. Tommy Gunn was to Action Man what Cindy (sp?) was
to Barbie.
He
is just under two inches shorter than the average action figure. He features
that typical upper arm and upper leg segmentation that was common to the
early Joes and Action Men.
He
has graduated from being the quirky, odd-man-out amongst a legion of Action
Men, to standing shoulder to shoulder with my collection of Dragon figures,
and I have given him the name Mannfred.
